Ottoman cuisine was under the control of the cooks’ guild during the imperial period. Master chefs set
very strict rules in order for those who would learn to cook traditional Turkish dishes to be well educated , and as in other professional guilds, they determined the relations of novice and masters as masters, journeymen, apprentices and patrons.
The founder of the cookery profession, the greatest master is the cook grandfather known as Ateşbaz Veli of Konya Mevlevi Lodge. He is the only chef in the world whose tomb was built and whose grave is still visited.
The Palace Cooks Series, which consists of three separate miniatures, is produced by the artist Mr. M. Cem, with 350 grams of 925-carat silver, completely handcrafted, faithful to the original costume details. These products, which will never lose their value, are valuable gifts to be passed on to future generations as permanent works of art.

Silver Miniatures are produced in limited numbers, with each model 250 pieces.

Note: Our janissary sculptures are produced on order and you can send your order requests to e-mail address.
