In Hazine-i Hümayun, one of the few treasures in the world; There are thousands of items such as various items made of gold, silver, precious stones, manuscripts, caftans and watches. The collection consists of silver taken from the Ottoman Palace treasury, gifts received by the sultans on their anniversaries and precious metals brought to the sultans during their visits by European diplomats, as well as donated and purchased artifacts and was opened to the public in 1924 by order of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Today, it continues to serve under the name of Topkapı Palace Museum Directorate.
The patterns found in the Mahizer Bowl are inspired by a 16th century silver bowl and a tray with the signature of Suleiman the Magnificent, belonging to the Topkapı Palace Museum Silver Artifacts Collection.
The Mahizer Bowl is made of handmade glass and all the relief patterns on it are handcrafted and decorated using 24 carat gold gilding.
