Troy, which was a legend at first, was started to be sought by Heinrich Schliemann in the 1870s, based on what was told in the Iliad. UNESCO’s 1998 World Heritage sites who excavated Troy Ancient City received the List of German Heinrich Schliemann by smuggled from Turkey in 1873, five thousand years of history with Troy Treasures, first was donated to the Berlin Museum, Second It was taken to Russia as war spoils after World War II. While digging, Schliemann reached the treasures by destroying many archaeological layers, and it was later understood how much damage this was archaeologically. This destruction at the excavation site is today called the “Schlieman” cleft.
As a result of special efforts and studies, some artifacts were returned to their lands, while other works are exhibited in the Russian Hermitage Museum and the Pushkin Museum, the USA Pennsylvania Museum, Germany Schmuckmuseum Pforzeim, New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and the British Museum. Between the years 1871-1890 was kidnapped from Troy destroyed by illegal excavations Treasures of Troy’s efforts to return to Turkey is still continuing.

Jugs from Troy are made of handmade caramel glass and all the relief patterns on it are decorated using 24 carat gold and gilding.
