35 BESMELE PEDESTAL TABLE
Besmele; It means “in the name of Allah, who is Rahman (who shows mercy to all living beings without discrimination) and Rahim (who protects, pity, mercy)” and is widely used in Islam because of the belief that everything should be started in the name of Allah.
35 Besmele with Pearlescent Table in the center and stacked in leaf form, Basmele was repeated 35 times using thuluth and talik writing styles. The patterns on the painting are inspired by the compositions of the works with special patterns found in the Topkapı Palace Museum.
In the Islamic tradition, some numbers are used to express good wishes and good luck. It is believed that the Basmalah repeated 35 times will bring abundance to the environment and protect it from evil eyes.
All of the relief patterns on the 35 Besmele Pearlescent Table are handcrafted and decorated using 24 carat gold gilding. It was colored with enamel technique using mother-of-pearl paints and decorated with beads made with enamel technique.
Its production is limited to 2000 pieces.
